Poke

Poke, born in Suriname, came to the Netherlands in 2009. This is where he first 'met' music and rap. Hanging out in the neighbourhood with the boys and freestyling for fun, Poke discovered that he was really good at it and loved doing it too. A few tracks came out, with 'Raak me niet aan' as one of the favourites. Bookings and more followed, after which Poke at some point decided to develop his rap skills even further and continued solo. In the meantime, he spent a lot of time in the studio making music and broadening his vocabulary.
